Does trimming lose quality?
Usually not. VidFold copies the original video and audio data instead of re-encoding it. The copy starts at the key frame before your start time and hides the extra part, so the clip still begins where you chose.

How precise is the cut?
Start and end can be set to a tenth of a second, by dragging the handles, typing the times, or using Set start and Set end while the video plays.
What happens to MKV and TS files?
They’re saved as MP4. The video and audio data are still copied when MP4 supports their codecs.
Is my video uploaded?
No. VidFold processes the file with your browser’s own video APIs, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and location and device details are removed from the export by default.
